St. Dionysius Indian Orthodox Church completes five glorious years in the soil of New Zealand. The Church has maintained a steady pace so far, in its spiritual and physical growth. The church comprises of members from Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Palmerston North. As majority of the members live in Auckland, all the major activities are held in Auckland. This is the one and only Orthodox parish in whole country of New Zealand. We proudly support and work hand in hand with the social organizations based in New Zealand and extends helping hands to the needy both here and abroad.

We do specially care for our next generation and organizes Vacation programmes for the kids and Youth Camp for youngsters. All the spiritual organizations function effectively in par with our custom and tradition. We conduct our regular services in a rental place. It is really our dream to have a place of our own in this land. Now, we are at the footsteps of this significant milestone in the history of our church. With the sincere and utmost support of just 40 members, we have managed to purchase a land to build a Community centre. The total cost of the land was NZD 400,000 of which we could raise NZD 200,000 and the bank lent us with the remaining NZD 200,000. We wish to have a community centre building to be completed by the end of next year. We seek your kind support towards this gracious cause, individually or in groups.
