About Us

Our Mission

To respond, to the call of our Lord Jesus Christ, to minister to those who are suffering and are in need throughout the world, sharing with them God's gift of food, shelter, economic self-sufficiency and hope.
We have a commitment to the development and growth in the spiritual, educational and ecumenical fields of activities of the congregation, through proper planning, programming and efficient utilisation of available resources.
This we do through a high level of community interaction by organising educational, cultural and sporting activities.

  Social, Cultural & Educational Objectives

1. To encourage and assist Migrants to integrate into the New Zealand community and maintain their loyalty to the New Zealand authorities without breaking their traditional ties with their mother land.
2. To encourage and assist the children and youth to play an active part in the society and its activities.
3. To provide religious group activities.
4. To establish and develop the following non profitable services to members of the organization and other community groups:
a. Ethnic schools and Kindergartens
b. Homes for the aged
c. Women’s league
d. Youth League and activities.
e. Other services as deemed necessary

We have grown from a handful of members in 2002 to over 150 members today. The Children’s Sunday school, Youth Movement, Women’s Group (Martha Mariyam Samajam), Prayer meetings etc. provide the spiritual nourishment for our faithful. There are about 50 children in the Sunday school and 15 members in the youth movement who are the building blocks of our future.
Our children and youth are very active in assisting various community charitable events.
