While
the church is relatively young, its members all
have long experience as successful organisers
of community programmes as well as cultural and
sports activities. We participate in various community
sports and fund raising programmes and also joins
hands with other community groups to organise
cultural programmes.
We conduct youth camps for the youth for sharing
and developing their skills. We also have sporting
activities for the young and the old.
During the Tsunami that struck Asia in Dec 2004,
our community has contributed to various aid agencies
by way of organising utilities that can be used
in the Tsunami struck region and also financially
to the NZ Red Cross Society. We also help people
who are in need on a case-to-case basis within
the limited funds we have kept for this cause.
