St. Dionysius Indian Orthodox Church, (SDIOC)
New Zealand was formed in May 2003, to promote a Christian way of life according to the faith and doctrines of the Orthodox Syrian Church of India. SDIOC is the first Indian Orthodox Church in New Zealand. We have a small membership base of about 40 members.

In the multi-ethnic society of New Zealand, SDIOC is the community's interface linking people, culture and values through Prayer, Worship & Service. It is the dream of our 40 families of SDIOC to have a place of worship of our own which may soon become a reality.
